Did you know is the 100th anniversary of the cherry blossom trees around the tidal basin in the Mall? The trees were a gift from the Japanese government to
the US government as a gift of "growing friendship." Every year we watch them spring out and delightfully enjoy their presence around the city. Are there any cherry blossoms around your neighborhood?
So pretty. I would love to see the cherry blossoms in DC someday.

ReplyDeleteSuch pretty photos, I love Cherry Blossoms! We have some in Malmö, along the bike road I used to take on my way to the Swedish Radio, when I worked there. I think I have to go and see if they are in blossom here too!
