Although February is almost over, it's Black History month, It was my intention to post something about it, but I ran out of time. Here's a visual reminder of one of our most darkest moments.
We constantly need reminders of how bad it was, and especially young people need to learn about this. But I actually didn't know you had a special Black history month. Good to know!
"Strange fruit" sang by Billie Holiday (and others)is a favourite of mine... do you know it?
PS I saw such a lovely photo of what must be you and newborn Emelie among the "You might also like"-links, but when I clicked on it I came to some strange advertising sajt. Strange... Tried the other links and they work.
@Rebecca: Yes we need to respect the lessons from past and learn from it. By the way Maria, I don't know that song, I will take a peek in iTunes. About the broken link: It happens that I used to have another domain, and those old posts were published under that old domain, but now I don't know how to have them viewed in this new domain. I'm bewildered. I tried republishing all of them again but didn't work.
The strange fruits in the song is lynched black people, so it's a really sad one. Pity about your old posts from the other domain. Wish I could give you a tip but I have no idea what to do.
"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."

Thank you for taking the time to help us remember.
