Today I don't have any recipes to post, but oh boy, aren't these photographs so enticing and brilliant? The amazing food stylist and world traveler behind them is Marte Marie Forsberg, who runs a blog called Le voyage creatif. I recently started following her Instagram feed, and have never been so inspired on the subject of food and travel. She's currently working on a assignment titled, 60 days of lunch, where she Instagrams snippets of her lunch, and so far she's gone from Milano to a town in Sweden and back to Olso, her howmetown. Her pictures tell a story about her day, her travels and her love of food. She's like a personal travel guide with an amazing eye for food. If you don't start following her Instagram, you will be missing on some of the most impressive and artful photographs.

Emilu: 12 months of life
We came back home on Wednesday, and Thursday we had a Pediatrician appointment. She was given her shots, and they drew blood for the first time. Emilu kicked her legs and cried like never before, but thank goodness she was poked once only. She weighs 21 and half pounds and her height is 30 inches tall. Where did the months go? I remember bringing her home from the hospital, the sleepless nights that followed and all the giggling and babbling she learned to do after. Here's a month by month (12) picture strip of her first year of life. My baby is a now a toddler.

Instagram weekend
Hello, friends, I've had a late start this week. Monday came and I was busy at home with the flooring guy, whose job of putting a new floor also meant I had to take care of the post cleaning. The interrupted routine also affected Emilu's meal and nap times, which basically pushed everything aside, including my Monday post.
Everything is done now. I have a new kitchen floor and it looks fabulous! How was your weekend? Mine included a bit of everything from some DIY, a night outing to grab dinner on Friday the 13th (spooky!) and some relaxing time on Sunday afternoon. Here's mine in a few snapshots:

In the kitchen
{Panko crispy cod fillets}
Excited about my husband's return I got inspired to do some cooking just to test the Instagram app in my poorly lit, enclosed kitchen. What follows is a simple recipe that is sure to please you and your little ones, plus they can help you coat the fish, which you can easily turn into a crafty activity. Recipe follows.

Instagram Mondays
Here I am folks! I've made it out alive and in one piece, surviving the long weekend with Emilu, but I'm completely drained. The saying that you don't know what you have until you lose it it's dawning on me in a really eye-opening way: Missing my husband dearly and realizing how much he contributes to the day to day tasks.The downside is my baby is sick, she caught a nasty cold (probably at the playground), and has been up every hour for the past three nights. It's so heartbreaking to see her like this, struggling to get a good nite's rest. Hopefully sooner than later, she'll be back to her old self.
I hope you all had a nice Easter weekend. Do you Instagram?
