This is another photo from my Motherhood series, which I find fascinating.  How many times haven't we, mothers, been photographed in this pose with our babies napping, cuddling or resting on us, while we carry on with the world, in conversation or in thought.

Did you know Jacqueline gave birth to a third premature baby named Patrick who died two days later of respiratory distress syndrome?  She also gave birth to a still born daughter, named Arabella (her first child)  I now quietly understand her sometimes withdrawn attitude and extremely reserved persona.  Who woulnd't like to retrieve into their own skin after experiencing these tragic deaths. 

Pregnant Celebrities

So far, two actors that I have admired have welcomed babies into their families this year.  Take Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem.  They welcomed a baby boy a few weeks ago and so did Christina Applegate.

The media has always been enamored with Hollywood babies and celebrities' baby bumps.  The list this year is rapidly growing.
