Little toiletries

Sometimes I find myself indulged by small toiletries, like the ones you might get in shopping gifts or hotel rooms.  I have collected a few this past year.  There's something luxurious about lathering yourself in a different scent or product every night just because you can.  I'm one girl who marries a product until they stop selling it or simply I just move on without looking back. So to have a few days of changing things up a bit without breaking the bank is pure luxury.  Like staying in a hotel, sort of.

Worthy of note:

Chamomile Shampoo by Klorane
Molton's travel set, for her
Eau d' orage verte by Hermes, for him

Spotted: Umbra shop

This amazing Canadian based homegoods shop offers casual, contemporary and affordable design.  I have my eyes on these items, which I love to own.  That cute cord wrapped stool would look awesome in a nursery.  And the raspberry wine rack would be a cook gift for anyone who loves design and wine. My favorite is the round side table with its mid-century flair.  And that Big Ben clock would look good anywhere, really!

Bathroom Inspiration

Have you ever become obsessed with something after watching a movie?  This happens rather frequently in my life, and it happened the other day after watching Amelie for the 25th time. To summarize things, let's just say that I, for a split second, wanted to move into one of these bathrooms:

I love everything in this bathroom.  The pedestal sink (oh la la) and how about that yellow and white checkerboard floor (to die for)

When our family is ready to buy our first home, I will be so revisiting these bathroom images for inspiration. In the meantime, it doesn't hurt to dream and plot.
