The Thanksgiving table

My husband and I are staying put this year.  It will be our first holiday with Emilu.  By then, she will be well established with eating mashed food and it will be tons of fun to see her at the table. I will be preparing a Thanksgiving dinner this year and these tables are so inspiring. There's one for every taste from modern sleek to very traditional.  For more inspiration,  25 Thanksgiving table to gaze upon.

Are you a guest or a host this Thanksgiving? What are your holiday ideas for this Thanksgiving?   I'd love to hear about them.

  1. We don't celebrate Thanksgiving in Sweden, but December is the month for Advent Glögg parties and for many also parties with their job, maybe for a "Julbord" = Christmas Table = "Smörgåsbord"= Smorgosbord. With friends and colleagues counting down for Christmas, and then Christmas Eve is the big family day and the day we open our Christmas gifts.

Thanks for the comment on my blog, I think I will try the pompoms too :-)

  4. Those Thanksgiving tables are so inspiring. I would love to be able to set a table like one of those. In Australia, we don't celebrate Thanksgiving but I so wish we did - it just seems like an incredible 24 hours. Good luck with your turkey - I know from the movies I've seen that that's the stress of the day!
