Sweet papaya
Dear friends, have you ever tried papaya juice? It's so delicious, especially if you add a squirt of lemon to it. Papaya is the English name, but Spanish speakers refer to it as either lechoza or fruta bomba. The Papaya fruit is native to the tropics of the Americas, and it's especially abundant in the Caribbean where it's used in a variety of dishes and desserts. It's most commonly eaten plain or in juice form. I tried giving it to Emilu in mashed form, but she wasn't into it.
The pulp is rich in vitamins and moisturizing oils, which are used in beauty products for skin and hair treatments. It's also a natural laxative and excellent for intestinal treatments as well.

Looks delicious, ripe and lovely! I'm sure Papaya transported to Sweden doesn't taste the same at all as when you have it freshly picked...
